Emanuele Arciuli regularly plays for some of the major musical institutions. In Italy he collaborates with orchestras such as OSN Rai, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Comunale of Bologna, La Fenice of Venezia, Petruzzelli Theatre of Bari and Verdi Orchestra of Milan, he plays in recital at the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, San Carlo of Naples, Arena di Verona, "Amici della Musica" Florence, "Unione Musicale Turin, IUC of Rome etc. His commitment to contemporary music has led him to perform regularly at major international festivals (Wien Modern, Berliner Festwochen, Miller Theater di New York, RedCats di Los Angeles, Melbourne Festival, Milano Musica, Biennale of Venice, Nuova Consonanza of Rome etc.). Among the orchestras he has played with internationally are Rotterdam Philharmonic, MDR Lipsia, Brussel Philharmonic, Residentie Orkest Den Haag (Concertgebouw Amsterdam), RTSI Lugano, Brucknerorchester Linz, Tonkünstler Wien (Musikverein), St Petersburg Philharmonic, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and many others. Among the directors with whom he collaborates are Roberto Abbado, Marc Andreae, John Axelrod, Andrei Boreyko, Dennis Russell Davies, Diego Fasolis, Yoel Levi, Brad Lubman, Wayne Marshall, James MacMillan, Kazushi Ono, Zoltan Pesko, Stefan Reck, Jonathan Stockhammer, Arturo Tamayo, Juraj Valchua, Mario Venzago. Also active in chamber music, he regularly collaborates with Sonia Bergamasco and Andrea Rebaudengo. Alongside the more traditional repertoire, he plays a lot of music of our time. More than fifty pages have been composed for him by composers such as George Crumb, Milton Babbitt, Frederic Rzewski, Michael Nyman, Michael Daugherty, John Luther Adams, to name just a few. His interest in American music has resulted in numerous lectures, both radio and television, and two books, Piano music in the USA (Edt) and Leonard Bernstein's Piano (Ets). Recently published pamphlet "The Beauty of New Music" (Dedalo). In 2011 he was awarded the Italian music critics prize "Franco Abbiati" as best soloist of the year. Other awards include, one nomination for Grammy Award for cd dedicated to George Crumb. He has made records for Stradivarius, Chandos, Vai, Innova Records, Bridge, Albany, Wergo e Naxos. Recent Walk in Beauty, a rich anthology of American music. Teaches contemporary piano to the Accademia di Pinerolo. Professor of piano at the "Piccinni" Conservatory in Bari, regularly holds workshops for numerous universities in the United States, where he has been since 1998 and has toured more than forty times.
