GIOVANNI PELLICCIA

He was born in 1957 in Rome, son of famous violinist Arrigo Pelliccia. He took diploma of Piano and as Conductor in S. Cecilia  under the guide of C. Giudici e B. Aprea, studing also composition with M° G. Marinuzzi jr. After this he started to improve his technic in Pescara (Acc. Mus. Pescarese) for three years with Renzetti. He was teacher of orchestra conducting in several Conservatorium in Italy. He played synphonic concerts in Italy and allover the world: in Romania, USA, Austria, Canada, together with some famous soloists such as B. Canino, F. Bossone, M. Rogliano, M. Fiorini, A. Cappelletti. He recorded for RAI, austrian Radio and during celebration of Pietro Metastasio (2000) conducted on first modern execution “La passione di Cristo” by A. Salieri and “Giuseppe riconosciuto” by P. Anfossi. Actually  he teachs in Conservatorio E. R. Duni in Matera.
