Accademia Musicale Romana born in 1997 for creating a
group of musicians and presents cultural events, not only for music but in order
to find a new generation of interpreters and with Courses, Masterclasses,
Concerts and so on, young Soloists can take part of real intensive judgement of
public. The great orchestra is the “heart” of the association.
The
Accademia Musicale Romana Orchestra
was founded in Rome in 1997: it is not only a Synphonic Orchestra but also a
Chamber Ensemble, it depends on programms and
members. The largest one consists
of 50 – 55 joung musicians and
its stregth lies in the high proficiency reached
in each section and in the ensemble as a result of long rehearsals, above allfriendship. During its performances the Accademia Musicale Romana Orchestra,
conducted by excellent and wise Giovanni Pelliccia, has hosted major Soloists
such as the pianist Bruno Canino, Francesco Bossone (bassoon of
S. Cecilia Orchestra), Marco Fiorini (violin soloist in S. Cecilia
Orchestra of Rome), Marco Rogliano and Vincenzo Mariozzi.
Stand of main musical events till 1999 was the
picturesque Oratorio del Caravita in Rome.
The
Orchestra had also played in Latina (Teatro Comunale), Sperlonga (Archeologic
Area of Tiberio Cave), and so on. “Music has not borders” and the repertory
goes from baroque (Bach, Vivaldi, Corelli, Albinoni) to modern and contemporary
pieces ( Grieg, Elgar, Britten).
